To summarise- Phase 2 is to include the following:

·      The construction of 3 canopied areas in the vicinity of the Mart and Green Room to optimise usage of the outdoor area and protect people from rain showers whilst enjoying refreshments.

·      Improvements to safety and disabled accessibility by installing handrails on steps and linking up paving round Green Room to the disabled toilet.

·      Levelling the area on the east side of the Green Room to accommodate mobile catering vans.

·      Tidying up the west side of the Mart with vehicular access.

·      Upgrading the Green Room kitchen to bring it up to standard as a Food Premises which will include a separate handwashing sink, double bowl sink for washing dishes and installing a grease trap.

With the canopies, kitchen upgrade, increased safety measures together with general tidying up, this project is now completed.
